Goals, Tasks & Habits

This section corresponds to the Goals and Habits tabs. It is the structural backbone of Allie, where long-term ambitions are decomposed into milestones, tasks, and repeating behaviors.

Example Flow

Run a half-marathon → create Goal → define milestones → generate Tasks → attach Habits → surfaced daily in Today.

Goals

  • Capture high-level objectives with narrative, metrics, and target dates.
  • Decompose into milestones and then into daily or weekly tasks.
  • Link tasks back to goals so Today always has a "why."

Habits

  • Track streaks with counters and heatmaps to visualize consistency.
  • Use AI insights to detect patterns and propose tweaks.
  • Feed daily completions into weekly identity reflection.
